Ceragem CEO Lee Whan-seong Selected as Business leader for Economic Mission to India!

CEO Lee Whan-seong of Ceragem, a global health care group is going to be in the forefront of sales diplomacy again. The Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy announced the list of 70 business leaders including Ceragem CEO Lee Whan-seong to accompany President Park Geun-hye on an economic mission to India and Switzerland from January 15 to January 22. This is the 3rd time for CEO Lee, Whan-seong to participate in diplomatic activity continued from the previous year’s economic mission to China and Vietnam as part of economic team to Republic of Korea President Park Geun-hye.

 

 

 

 


The Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy explained the background of appointment of 70 business leaders for economic mission group, saying that the ministry considered the business value in India, future plan, prospect of business in the local market. Especially, for India economic mission, while numerous companies related to demand of local infrastructures, construction, electricity, plant, IT and software were selected, only two health care companies including Ceragem were selected.

 

President Park Geun-hye plans a sales diplomacy with economic mission group to attract investment to Korea and expand the economic influence in Indian market with 12 billion populations from this economic mission tour. Ceragem CEO Lee Whan-seong said that he will do his best to elevate Korea’s national image and Ceragem’s brand value by bringing “Korea Wave” to the medical field in Indian market while accompanying President Park Geun-hye. 

 

 

Ceragem launched its business in India in 2006, and currently 300 Ceragem centers are running business. Last year, Ceragem launched new thermal spine massager V3 in India and performed various marketing activities customized to local cultural characteristics. As a result, Ceragem is bringing a sensation among the Indian customers with high attention and the number of Ceragem centers is nearly doubled in 2014. CEO Lee What-seong said, “India is considered to be a very difficult country to have business. However, Ceragem was able to achieve great outcome by establishing credibility based on Ceragem’s trial marketing.” CEO Lee also said, “I will continue the business seeking new business opportunity and focus on elevating the corporate value of Ceragem as a company leading health care culture.”
